New Mexico's First Permitted Medical Psilocybin Producer
At Sacred Alto Spores, we proudly serve as New Mexico's first permitted medical psilocybin producer. We cultivate exceptional mushroom strains with meticulous intention, clinical precision, and respect inspired by our state's enchanting landscape. Every batch is grown under sterile, strictly controlled environments to ensure absolute purity, safety, and predictable therapeutic consistency for the clients you serve.
Our Strain Varieties
Psilocybin varieties are subject to availability. Orders will ONLY be accepted from licensed psilocybin service centers in New Mexico.
Golden Teacher
An established, widely documented phenotype of Psilocybe cubensis recognized in analytic research for its stable and highly predictable tryptamine distribution profiles.
Due to its steady, moderate alkaloid concentrations (typically averaging between 0.6% and 1.0% total dry weight tryptamines), this variety is highly favored by clinical practitioners who require strict batch-to-batch uniformity and precise baseline microdose or macrodose metrics.
Inca Stargazer
A resilient, dense-fruiting Psilocybe cubensis variant known in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) for its structural uniformity and metabolic stability across successive flushes.
Analytical profiles indicate a highly balanced ratio of primary psilocybin to secondary metabolite trace alkaloids. This consistent chemical baseline supports clinical protocols focused on minimizing variance in patient onset times and cognitive stabilization windows.
Tidal Wave
A high-potency hybrid strain developed through the specific laboratory crossing of classic B+ and P.E. lineages. This variety holds documented record-high rankings in independent quantitative chemical analysis for elevated tryptamine accumulation.
Testing substantially higher than average standard cubensis varieties, this hybrid is generally intended for advanced clinical facilitators managing high-dose protocols. It is frequently highlighted in analytical research mapping extreme high-potency thresholds and metabolic pathways.
Columbian Rust
A highly distinct domesticated phenotype of Psilocybe cubensis characterized by its unique rust-colored spore taxonomy and highly stable concentration of secondary tryptamine metabolites.
Facilitators who incorporate somatic psychology or body-centered mindfulness into their protocols heavily favor this variety. Analytical profiles suggest its unique alkaloid balance induces a more grounded, somatic-forward response — an exceptional clinical tool for patients focused on trauma-release integration and processing deep, physically held tension.
From Inoculation to Transfer — Every Step, One Producer
Sacred Alto Spores is a fully integrated operation. The same permitted producer who inoculates the substrate also homogenizes the harvest, weighs the finished product, prints the label, and personally executes every transfer. No handoffs. No gaps in the chain.
Substrate Preparation
Premium agricultural inputs — coco coir, vermiculite, gypsum, and grain — are prepared and sterilized with zero pesticides or artificial adulterants in full compliance with 7.35.2.12 NMAC. Every substrate batch is documented with input sources, preparation date, and sterilization method before inoculation begins.
Controlled Environment Cultivation
Strains are cultivated inside sterile grow environments running automated 90% humidity, precise 70–76°F thermal tracking, and timed HEPA airflow filtration. Environmental parameters are logged throughout each growth cycle, eliminating microbial and mold risk and ensuring batch-to-batch consistency.
Harvest & Homogenization
Each harvest lot receives a unique traceability ID at the moment of harvest. Fruiting bodies are dried, then processed through a validated multi-step grinding protocol that uniformizes psilocybin distribution across the entire batch — eliminating the potency variance that occurs in whole or unprocessed mushroom material. Homogenization date and lot ID are logged in the state traceability system per 7.35.2.13 NMAC.
NTEP-Certified Weighing
All finished product is weighed on an NTEP-certified scale in full compliance with New Mexico Department of Agriculture standards. Certified weight documentation accompanies every batch record, providing the verified quantity basis for all transfer manifests and traceability system entries.
Third-Party Laboratory Testing
Prior to any transfer, every batch is submitted to an accredited third-party laboratory for a full Certificate of Analysis: psilocybin and psilocin potency quantification, microbial contamination screening, heavy metals analysis, and pesticide residue testing per 7.35.2.19 NMAC. No product moves without a passing COA on file.
Labeling & Packaging
Finished product is packaged in tamper-evident containers and labeled in compliance with state requirements: strain identity, batch unique ID, homogenized lot ID, net weight (NTEP-certified), COA reference, producer permit number, and required regulatory disclosures. Labels are printed and applied by the permitted producer before any product leaves the facility.
Chain-of-Custody Transfer
The permitted producer personally executes every transfer as the sole authorized transporter per 7.35.2.24 NMAC. Products travel in sealed, tamper-evident packaging inside a locked hard-sided container. A state-compliant chain-of-custody manifest accompanies every delivery, and all transfers are logged in the state traceability system before departure and confirmed after delivery.
